EP 1 on Igbo girl and Money

Are you tired of being poor? Tired of being broke? If the answer is yes, then I suggest you keep reading.
Now, this is not a get-rich-quick scheme or an illegal way of making money, what I am about to share with you are rules and I daresay principles to not just making but sustaining wealth.

The first rule is;
Increase your savings.

This principle applies to those who already have a source of income and if you don’t, baby girl get up your ass and start doing something for yourself (no pressure), what do you do for a living? You don’t have to be into tech or crypto, you could be an egg seller or someone who makes beancakes, no matter what you do for a living this rule applies to you.

Here is the trick which I will illustrate with an example, let’s say I sell Akara and I make 10 thousand naira a day.
The next time I need to take money from my bank account or purse for business, what I will do is to take 9 thousand nairas that way I am saving 1/10 of my daily income.

How will this help? Let’s say you have been doing this for 7 days, at the end of 7 days you have 7k, 7k that is just lying around waiting for you to use it.

At the beginning of the week I had 10k for business and at the end of the week my business is still running smoothly and I have 7k to spare. Do you get the gist?

Also, you will realize that there will be little to no change, the fact that I am using 9k instead of 10k won’t run down my business or make me less of an Akara seller. It’s all in your head and that’s why you need to read the next article on #Igbogirlsandmoney where I will share another important rule. Until then, practice what I have already shared and please be free to share your thoughts in the comments.

Long story short:

Set aside some money for your savings.
