You brought me into this world, provided for me, and supported me throughout my entire life. I’m forever indebted to you.

Do you ever look at your mum or dad and smile? Not because they are perfect but because you have finally realized that, just like you, they are still figuring life out.

They are not perfect but go out of their way to make you comfortable.

There are times we know our parents are making a mistake in trusting certain people (family members or friends). Sometimes we let them in on our thoughts, other times we let them taste the fire because mistakes are the best teachers.

Have you ever felt like you are parenting your parent? Not like in a feeding, poop-packing kind of way but like in giving them advice. And then they are so stubborn, just like you.

Ultimately you can only hope and pray their mistakes don’t cost them so much.

Our parents are not perfect. They will never be, and you know those parents you admire and wish were your parents? Yeah, they are not perfect, either.

I know some people have been dealt terrible blows by Little Miss Life; having deadbeat dads and absent mothers, I empathize with you❤️.

But, if you are one of the lucky ones with parents who genuinely care for you, appreciate them. They deserve it.

Parents are humans too and they need love and care. Are they annoying? Yes! But so are we.

Love your parents. Pray for them, you never know how much they need it.
